The F82 BMW M4 introduced turbocharging to BMW’s mid-size performance icon. It was also the first BMW M car to feature carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) on the driveshaft and strut brace, a weight-saving measure directly inspired by the i-series.
