The Subaru SVX was one of the most distinctive grand tourers of the 1990s, created by Subaru as a high-end halo car for the brand. Styled by the Italian design house Italdesign, the SVX stood out immediately because of its unusual window-within-a-window side glass design. The main side windows were fixed, while a smaller inset pane handled the opening function.
