The Porsche Boxster Spyder (987) is the lightweight, high-performance variant of the 987-generation Boxster, produced from 2009 to 2012. It features a mid-mounted 3.4-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine producing 320 horsepower, paired exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Spyder emphasized a purist driving experience, with reduced weight, a lower ride height, and a minimalist soft-top design to maximize handling and responsiveness.
