About The Nissan GT R R33
The Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33, 1995–1998) is powered by the 2.6L twin-turbocharged RB26DETT inline-six, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system. The RB26 uses parallel turbochargers, individual throttle bodies, forged internals, and an iron block, while the chassis features Super-HICAS four-wheel steering, electronically controlled torque distribution, and Brembo braking hardware on later V-Spec models.
The R33 GT-R further developed Nissan's performance platform with a longer wheelbase, wider track, improved suspension geometry, and more advanced AWD control than its R32 predecessor. The V-Spec added an active rear differential and revised suspension, while the Nür and N1 variants received further engine and chassis upgrades, making the R33 an important step in the evolution of Nissan's electronically managed AWD performance cars.
