The Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33, 1995–1998) is powered by the 2.6L twin-turbocharged RB26DETT inline-six, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system. The RB26 uses parallel turbochargers, individual throttle bodies, forged internals, and an iron block, while the chassis features Super-HICAS four-wheel steering, electronically controlled torque distribution, and Brembo braking hardware on later V-Spec models.
The R33 GT-R further developed Nissan's performance platform with a longer wheelbase, wider track, improved suspension geometry, and more advanced AWD control than its R32 predecessor.
