The Nissan Cube was one of the most unconventional small cars ever brought to global markets by Nissan. True to its name, the Cube embraced a deliberately boxy design, but what made it stand out was its quirky asymmetrical rear window that wrapped around one side of the vehicle. This unusual design choice gave the car a distinctive look that was instantly recognizable. Originally popular in Japan, the Cube later reached international markets where its playful styling and compact footprint made it a curious alternative to more traditional hatchbacks.

Inside, the Cube focused on comfort and personality rather than sportiness. The cabin was designed to feel relaxed and lounge-like, with soft shapes, rounded surfaces, and seating meant to resemble a cozy sofa. Subtle details like ripple-pattern headliners and ambient lighting added to the calm, almost living-room-like atmosphere. While its unusual styling divided opinions, the Cube developed a niche following among drivers who appreciated its creativity and emphasis on character over conventional design.
