About The Acura Integra GS-R
The Acura Integra GS-R (1994–2001) is powered by the high-revving 1.8L B18C1 DOHC VTEC inline-four, producing 170 hp and 128 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive. Its chassis uses independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, a limited-slip differential, and a relatively low curb weight, giving the GS-R a strong power-to-weight ratio for a compact front-wheel-drive car.
The B18C1's VTEC variable valve timing and lift system, high 8,000-rpm redline, close-ratio manual gearbox, and factory limited-slip differential give the GS-R much of its character. Combined with its lightweight chassis and naturally aspirated power delivery, the second-generation Integra GS-R became one of Acura's defining enthusiast-oriented compact cars.
